1. These are relevant only for New Algorithm.
2&3. No other settings are directly related to Chick/Splash but Levels and Notes still need to be set correctly.

Sorry, sometimes the penny does not quickly drop...

I see following settings related to chick/splash (names and order according MegaDrum):
ChckDelay, EnSoftChick, MinVlcty, MaxVlcty, ChckDead, ChkCrv, ChickThrsh, ShrtChckTh and LngChickTh

Do I understand correctly that above settings are only used/functional when New Algorithm is activated?
OR if New Algorithm is not activated these settings are ignored?
Kind regards, Rob.

Hm. I was going to update my settings with MegaDrumManager with the newest Java app. But it required a new firmware to function.
So I went to upgrade it (via MIDI I guess?) but even though my model is identifie as STM32f in the megadrummanager window, it insisted on a STM32d firmware file name. Well I chose that and the machine went into firmware upgrade mode but the app says "MegaDrum is not responding". What am I doing wrong?

Firmware on my 56 input MD is 20190602
